I'm completly over the moon STOKED about this project! WOW! I have been planning a suprise for a while now that until now, I had no idea how big the dreams and the wings for it would grow and take flight! I am here to raise funds to help make this creative
celebration a huge goooGoGOOOOO!!!!!
And sometimes we have to figure out what dreams are worth keeping and which ones we have to let go of...
I am Shanni, the owner of

shannisPARTY and a 7 time mom. I've had times in my life where I have failed and succeeded and from this point on, I'm not in that former place of failure anymore that I've known. I have seen way too much of that in my life, but that time in my life is over.....
Its been a huge dream of mine for a while now, to go to California to see my son who has been there since he was 7. Life took me in a different direction, and i had 4 more children after that. Now that kid is 18 and on March 20th, I actually saw my kid for the first time in almost 12 years and it was just awesome!
Well last night, I happened to find a big huge part of what I need to make my dreams come true in my life - a big truck that I want to buy, a restored old Uhaul. The guy wants $3000 for it and told me that it would require about $4,000 a year for the insurance alone. But I want it and I'm gonna have it, so I thought that I needed to start a fundrazr campaign to get the money for it and quick.
SOOOO EXCITING - WOOHOO!!! Because then I started going through all the possibilities and adventures that me and my new truck are going to take us on and wow! One of these big huge dreams is to just cross-country here and there and document it. I'm gonna start a youtube series for it and do some really amazing awesome things with it! Now I feel like I can move on with my life from the tragedies I've experienced and have the best life ever starting now! I'm going to buy this truck, fix it up, get it licensed, put state of the art technology in there and a security system and I want to live stream on
twitch from the road when I get this badboy up and going and make this dream come true. HOLLA I'm SOOO EXCITEDDD!!!!!!!

With this, what I am asking for is going to require at least $10,000 to get started on. Here's a break down of what I estimate is $3000 for the truck itself, plus licensing, I'm going to need to get a Class A CDL for commercial use with my network because I'll be using it as my personal vehicle and my company vehicle and I will be offering "Mobile advertising" via sponsors and partners for anyone who contributes to this campaign above the certain criteria.
One of the biggest things I will need is to adapt to my 2 year old who will be in the vehicle with us a lot on these road trips. Its a single cab truck but in pretty much every state, toddlers require to be in the backseat for safety reasons, for OBVIOUS reasons, so I'll need to do something with it and convert it to what works for him too. I've done the homework on this, and it may not be entirely practical to have Mark in the cab of the truck, so it looks like this will need to be converted to something backwise that is completely safe and adaptable to him for longer road trips. Possibility being an additional seat in the back with an added passenger to care for him (and I actually just need my fam team with me to do all this anyways)

this is a great article by Uhaul that I read. It recommends actually using a U-pack, but this is an old Uhaul, so I obviously won't be renting one from Uhaul or a U-pack, but this is just for information purposes in finding alternatives for toddler adaptations
Its big enough in the back to fit another truck, the owner actually used it for his racing car, but just couldn't afford the insurance on it. I want the 5th wheeler in the back too - but he won't sell that, its his pride and joy. Dang!
And it needs some maintenance repair and body work. A LOT of body work and of course I wanna give it a kickass paint job.
But there are some serious goals attached to it also and they are:
California - I am being called there and I am unsure of why. Its where I feel I need to situate us part time and accomplishing some things.
Being there, for my son Shelden as he graduates high school and heads off to bootcamp. His overall goal is his participation in the
Mars Society, a society dedicated to making it more human and practical for average citizens to go to the moon. I've been proud of him for his aspirations and the drive to do this, and that he will be going into the military as part of this. One BIG STEP for mankind!
Helping out friends John and Nikki (
Starseed and JB). They are owners/operators of
Vow of Service in their mission by offering donations and use of said truck. Its my hope to serve humanity as well and join them in their mission as much as I can while also maintaining my home base here in my home in Utah

i am intending to start a spiritual academy here in Utah and California and whereever else the need arises that follows suit of their interfaith ministry
That said though, I am still a parent with specific needs children who need love and services also.
But a girl just wants to have fun too - of course this will be fun!
I need to get started on this ASAP because time is fast slipping away from us towards these events, Shelden's graduation is next and is less than 2 months away.
